Hi there, now we are going to talk about what you should expect out of a performance review with your supervisor. Good luck!
  • Job Description and Expectations- When you are hired, you can reasonably expect to come into a well defined role, with clear expectations that are implied with the job description. Your supervisor will explain to you again what this job is and what he/she is expecting from you. Then he will review what you have successfully and unsuccessfully.
  • Objectives- After studying this chapter you will be able to:

    1. Explain what your employer expects of you as a worker.
    2. Identify things you can do to promote good working relationships with your supervisor and coworkers.
    3. Build workplace competencies in using resources, interpersonal skills, and information.

  • What to do!- (Very important! -->) Keep a positive attitude, be sure to be punctual, listen also give feedback when you see a pause (be sure not to interrupt), speak up ask questions and talk about any hardships your having, but most important of all ACCEPT CRITICISM and DO NOT FREAK OUT!! These things are things that are all needed at the work place. If you show to your boss that you can hit all of these marks with ease they will not only be impressed, they will be proud and happy!
  • Congratz!- You got through it! Now just wait to hear back about how ya did, if it is needed. :)
